I have been cycling a 10 gallon tank for nearly a month now. I have seen the ammonia spike to 8.0+, the nitrites rise then fall, the nitrates rise to 80. Did a water change, which lowered nitrates to 10-20, nitrites are .25, but ammonia is STILL off the chart! Has this happened [...]
Would like to know why fish congregate to top of tank and gulp at air. The water is changed weekly and aeration is in place.
